About

Hi, my name is Amy.

I’m a native Arizonan, a desert dweller turned California beach girl for 17 years, now residing in the mountains of Colorado, a state known for its spirit of adventure.

“May you live all the days of your life.”

Jonathan Swift’s admonition to his readers in the 18th century has become my very present-day goal. As I approach the half-century mark, I’m ever more mindful of being intentional, of being present, of experiencing life to the fullest. One way to be awake and alive, I’ve discovered, is to do things I’ve never done before. So, I’m calendaring adventure - from mild to wild - in each month of this, my 50th year of life.

I invite you to join me: either vicariously through reading these posts after the fact, or in person by showing up ready for feats of bravery and just plain fun.

I hope this blog inspires you to try new things, step out of your comfort zone and experience all the possibilities life has to offer. Feel free to leave a comment or email me with your interest in coming along for the ride!
